Analyzing Investigations
When analyzing investigations it is important to identify the independent and dependent variables including its constants. Constants are the factors in a experiment that are kept the same so they will not affect the outcome of the experiment. Constants are also known as the controlled experiment. Another thing that should be identified when analyzing investigations is the hypothesis being tested.

Helpful Tips When Analyzing Investigations
- Beginning your investigation you need to figure out what your independent and dependent variables.
- Be sure to define what hypothesis is being tested.
- Make sure that all other variables that could affect the results are prevented as much as possible from having an effect.
- Try to keep the conditions the same that you are working with during your experiment, if they are not the same your results may not be accurate.
- Before the experiment you need to predict what is going to happen considering what you are going to change about independent and dependent variable. (creating a hypothesis)
